Ok so this one girl that i follow on twitter (she’s in my program and i’ve known for years) is a moron and i seriously don’t understand how she’s in ir. she finds half the MAJOR material boring (the neorealism/neoliberalism debates, the discussions of the cold war and it’s impact on IR) and she keeps dropping the majority of poli sci classes because there’s “too much work”. she wants to work with the UN or with an embassy and it seriously worries me knowing there are people like her who can and may make changes and an impact on foreign relations in the future. and oh my god i seriously just…i can’t even with her. i swear people should be tested before being allowed to study ir. because usually what people want to do with ir is make a GLOBAL impact and if you’re not even interested in the foundational material OR ANYTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS FOR THAT MATTER (during the us election she literally tweeted something along the lines of “why the fuck does everyone care so much about this election my timeline is all obama and romney like wtf”) GAHSFHSKBJGEDJJDJ

Bussing home with my crush and obviously arguing about politics:

Me: whatever. I’m just gonna move to Norway.
Him: phhhh Norway. Socialist.
Me: you say that like its a bad thing?
Him: it is. I’m gonna be rich I’m not getting my shit taxed.

ASSFGHJKL I essentially stopped that conversation because us two will NEVER agree on politics ahhhh
At least the rest of the trip home was pleasant ahaha :P

Seriously can’t focus on studying because I’m thinking of all the terrible things that might happen if America screws up and ends up with Romney as president. OH GOD THE INTERNATIONAL SECURITY PROBLEMS. THE SOCIAL PROBLEMS. I seriously can’t even handle my mind right now I’m actually going crazy. 

oh my god haha the facebook page teabonic posted the results from the poll last night on fox’s site on who won the debate (the poll tumblr had going around) and all the adults on it are so confused hahaha all the comments are like “WHAT is this really fox” and “NO WAY IS THIS right” and everyone pointing that every other poll had romney as a winner. ahahaha good work tumblr.

but seriously i feel like a large portion of republicans completely missed the lecture/readings in their intro to politics class where the prof discusses the separation between church and state. get with it. 

i stumbled across my first conservative and republican blogs on tumblr. i laughed for a long time. 

My new favourite activity is reading dumb political questions in yahoo answers…..it gets pretty funny if you don’t take it too seriously

Harper is allowing the debate to be opened up to criminalize abortion again.

He’s going to be allowing Conservative MP Stephen Woodworth to put forward the motion soon; sign the petition!!

Until Harper grows a vag of his own, he shouldn’t be delegating what a woman does with her own body.
